Whaleback October 5, 2009

    Nice shots, strange looking optic, never seen one of those before. It looks very cold with the early autumn sunshine. Thanks for posting:)

    These LED optics are the coming thing at offshore lighthouses. White Island Light in the Isles of Shoals got one last year; there's a photo at http://lighthouse.cc/white/.
